Owner’s equity is part of balance sheet
The share of the owner of an organization is part of balance sheet. It includes the amount initially invested as well as running capital invested in the business by its owner. It is written on the credit side of the balance sheet along with the liabilities.
Owner’s equity is on the credit side because it is something payable by the business to the owner. Even if the owner doesn’t take the invested amount back it’s mentioned on the balance sheet.
